Well Cistern Cleaning

-We can take samples of the water in the cistern before we begin if you would like to have your water tested.
- We will also be offering water cistern cleaning service from the basic
- where we will come out and clean out your well cistern tank. Doing an in depth pressure wash, a chlorine rinse and scrubbing of the inside to insure all the built up sediment is washed off and pumped out. Then a final rinse.

- To a full system sanitization per CDC recommendations , this is where bleach is added to cistern in a high concentrate , it is pumped threw all house pipes, and allowed to sit for 12 hours. then the cistern is drained, we do our in depth pressure wash scrub and rinse. then tank is filled and all the house lines are ran till they are clear of the bleach. This is NOT done unless there is a specific reason, such as water samples come back showing a need to sanitize. If cistern was contaminated with things like flood water, dead animals in tank, chemical contamination or other such problems that might happen. Most normal healthy well systems will not need this.

Cistern cleaning for Drinking water is recommended about once a year if your well produces very much sediment. a good sign you are needing to get the sediment cleaned out is if you don’t have a filter set up, open your toilet lid and see of your building up sediment there. or your screens are getting clogged up faster than normal on sinks.
